Steve is a human resource consultant who works with business leaders to refine their HR strategy, and grow their business by increasing productivity and efficiency, while containing labor costs and reducing liability.
Steve served for 10 years as Managing Director of Advisory Support for HR Alternatives, Inc., in Newport Beach. Before that position he spent seven years as the HR Manager for Textron Fastening Systems (Cherry Textron) in Santa Ana, CA where he led workforce and skill development initiatives at a 600-employee location. Prior to Textron, Steve was an HR Manager at Beckman – Coulter, Inc. (Beckman Instruments) in Brea, CA, a medical diagnostics company with revenue totaling more than $3.5 billion. In addition, Steve has had senior HR management experience at Intermetrics, Inc. in Huntington Beach, Seagate Corporation in Costa Mesa, and Computer Automation, Inc. in Irvine.
Steve earned a B.A. in Business Administration from California State University at Fullerton before receiving an M.S. in Human Resources Management from Chapman University in Orange, California. He is the recipient of a Certificate in International Human Resources, and he holds Senior Professional Human Resources Designations (SPHR and SHRM-SCP). With extensive training in corporate management, Steve is also a graduate of the Leadership Development Program at the Center for Creative Leadership. He is a Certified DDI Instructor, Certified Zenger-Miller/Achieve Global Instructor, Certified Predictive Index, Interpreter, Certified Analyst for Activity Vector Analysis, and TQM Facilitator Training. Always ready to share his knowledge of HR policy with others, Steve is a born educator. His current teaching responsibilities include Instructor of Compensation and Rewards Systems for the Human Resources Management Certificate Program at the University of California at Irvine as well as Adjunct Faculty to the Masters Program in the Chapman University System.
Rita has over 20 years of diverse human resources management and consulting experience in corporate, field, and multi-state operations for small to Fortune 500 organizations in various industries including, manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, construction, distribution, healthcare, architecture, banking, and financial services.
Rita has also provided expert advice to companies in employee relations, leadership development, training, employee engagement, change management and organizational effectiveness. Rita received her Master's of Business Administration from the University of Redlands. She received her coaching certification from Linkage International and is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and a senior professional through SHRM as an SCP.
Rita is currently a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, National Human Resources Association, Orange County Employment Management Association and has served as a past Board Member for the Orange County Chapter of the International Coach Federation.
Linda Denton is a leadership development consultant with 25 years of experience as a senior business executive leading multi-function teams in both the corporate and non-profit arenas. With her in-depth knowledge of leadership development, skill in the field of personal growth, and hands-on experience leading and building her own teams, Linda knows how to coach leaders and their teams to achieve more personal and professional success.
Leaders trust Linda’s practical experience to help them enhance their performance and ongoing development in areas such as developing efficient communication skills, deepening self-knowledge, building partnerships, and identifying growth opportunities in areas that may have previously been difficult to change. She brings her experience, knowledge, and the belief that leadership skills are learned through a process of intentional and focused development.
Linda holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources and Organization Development and is a professional coach certification with the International Coach Federation. She is an Authorized Partner on the Everything DiSC and The Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team, has advanced knowledge in a variety of assessments and 360-degree feedback tools, and uses these and other related resources in her leadership and team development work.
With nearly 20 years of experience in employee benefits, Lisa’s service-oriented expertise and technical knowledge is materialized in her strategic benefit solutions which are tailored to each client’s individual needs. Her tenure in the industry also provides a valuable network amongst our carrier partners, which provide significant advantages to our clients during renewal and marketing negotiations, as well as claim and care advocacy.
Her passion for high touch service is the focal point of her professional objective. We welcome her desire to leverage her connections and knowledge to curate additional business opportunities and foster expansion.
As a mentor and a strong advocate for mental health, she also strives to help others in a way that propels them towards reaching goals. Her greatest desire for all is to practice a life that serves others and fulfills the soul.
When Lisa is not working, she is most often spending time with her husband and two sons. She enjoys taking family trips, exploring the outdoors, off-roading on the Piute Trails, camping and fishing in Fish Lake National Forrest and playing cards and most any friendly games with her family.
Juan is a bi-lingual Consultant who brings over 16 years of experience in Human Resources and Risk Management to our team. Juan’s areas of expertise include Employee Relations, Training, Workers Compensation, Safety, Benefits, and Recruitment.
He has received multiple certifications including; Professional in Human Resources designation from UCLA, Mediation from ICM Institute for Conflict Management, and CPR and First Aid Trainer from the American Red Cross.
